USPS Shipping Price increases

Dear Tenacious Toys customers,

SHIPPING COST INCREASE MAY 14, 2007

As you may already know, the US Postal Service is raising
its rates across the board on May 14, 2007.

Our default shipping method for domestic orders is the USPS
Priority Mail service with Delivery Confirmation. This will
not change, but the USPS prices for this service are going
up, so that fact will be reflected in our shipping charges.

Unfortunately, international shipping prices are going up
significantly, possibly doubling from their current rates.

The USPS is restructuring the way which international
packages are shipped, doing away with the cheaper shipping
class we used most (Air Letter Post for small packages).
This shipping class will no longer exist.

They will now be pricing their international shipping rates
according to both the WEIGHT and SIZE of the package, much
like UPS and FedEx do now. This will result in much higher
shipping costs for our international customers.

We will do our absolute best to figure out the new shipping
costs for our international orders, but please bear with us
as this process is entirely new. We may have to bill some
of our customers after the sale to account for the higher
shipping costs.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: please note that for an additional
charge, we would be happy to purchase a tracking number for
your package. Or, we can ship your package via
International Priority Mail or International Express Mail,
both of which have tracking numbers included in the cost of
that package. I cannot say for sure how much these upgraded
shipping services will cost, but in some cases, for lighter
packages, it may be well worth an extra few dollars to be
able to track your package and get it faster.

We STRONGLY URGE all of our international customers to
place your orders within the next week in order to take
advantage of the cheaper shipping rates while they are
available. Any order placed after Friday, May 11th may be
subject to the new higher prices!

COMBINED SHIPPING

Please note that our shopping cart is NOT “intelligent” and
cannot reduce shipping costs for more than 1 item. If you
are buying more than 1 item, whether it be from
TenaciousToys.com, FunHousewares.com or our eBay store, we
will be happy to combine anything you’d like to order, from
any of those stores, onto one invoice in order to provide
you with the lowest possible shipping cost.
All you have to do is email us with your order & we will
figure out how much that order will cost to ship. Then we
will email you an invoice through Paypal, which you may pay
with your Paypal account or a credit card. US customers may
also send a check or money order.

We will do our best to make this a smooth transition.
