Space Invaders 30th Anniversary Headphones by Taito
These rare, imported headphones were made by Taito to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of the classic Space Invaders video game.
We got the last case available in the US, a case of 10. 5 are all-black models, 5 are white/pink models with white plastic and a pink earpiece.
The distributor did not have much info on them, and the box is fully in Japanese, so we don’t have much official text. But here is what I do know:
The jack is a standard 1/8-inch headphone jack that will plug into any mp3 player, ipod or any sort of portable music device. The earpieces are full-ear, meaning they will cover your entire ear. The ear pads are much and thick and their height is adjustable for a custom fit. The part that goes on top of your head is also heavily padded. On the outside of the earpiece is a Space Invaders 30th Anniversary logo.
We will never be able to reorder these so definitely jump on them now!
