1GB tokidoki Mimobots
Renowned Italian artist Simone Legno’s Tokidoki brand is crossing over to the consumer tech world with today’s announcement of the Tokidoki mimobot® collection of designer USB flash drives, the latest entry into the mimobot Artist Series. Legno is joining such talented artists as Jon Burgerman, Devilrobots, FriendsWithYou, and Mori Chack, all of whom have collaborated with mimoco in past Artist Series releases.
Tokidoki, which means “sometimes” in Japanese, was named such because of Legno’s love for Japanese culture and his belief that “everyone waits for moments that change one’s destiny.” After his destiny-changing moment arrived in 2003, Legno went from being an artist who used his website to promote his work to being an artist who was successfully building Tokidoki into a world-famous brand, representative of Japanese pop art and the world’s desire to consume as much of it as it can.
As with all mimobot series, the Tokidoki mimobot Series is available in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities, high-speed USB 2.0, and compatible with Mac, Windows, and Windows Vista’s ReadyBoost technology. Every Mimobot comes preloaded with bonus digital content, ranging from icons and screen savers to rich media, which also works in Mac and Windows environments.
